If you choose to stay, immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the stunning views of the dam; or, venture out to explore the scenic paths and landscapes surrounding Montargil. Curated by our chef, the picnic basket features a selection of fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced products. It’s an unforgettable experience that’s sure to be enjoyed by everyone.

Special offer and reservations conditions

The programme includes a picnic basket with:
• 1 bottle of water
• 1 natural juice
• 1 bottle of wine
• 3 varieties of Alentejo cheese
• 3 varieties of Alentejo cured meats
• 1 Alentejo bread
• Marinated olives
• 2 butters
• 1 jam
• 1 mixed salad for 2 people
• 2 chicken and egg sandwiches
• 2 desserts
• 2 seasonal fruits

Conditions:
• Price of €52, basket prepared for 2 people.
• This service must be requested at least 24 hours in advance via email — bookings@montargilmontenovo.pt
• A deposit of €100 (in cash) is required as a guarantee for the return of all utensils (basket, blanket, glasses, cutlery, and others).
• Any allergies or dietary restrictions should be communicated at the time of booking.
• In case of cancellations on the same day or no-show, the full cost of the meal will be charged.
• The price shown includes the current VAT rate and is subject to change without prior notice.
• No refunds or compensation for unused services or products.
• Extras available for flexible and non-refundable fees by applying the reservation and cancellation conditions in the terms and conditions.
